Rain Later, Good is an account of Peter's travels to all the sea areas and coastal stations of that national institution, the Shipping Forecast (yes, that was him on BBC2 television being seasick over the side of Newhaven lifeboat). Illustrated with 44 paintings, the book was adopted by the RNLI as the publication to celebrate their 175th anniversary. The original edition was  reprinted twice and in 2002 a revised and updated second edition was published to take into account the changes to sea area Finisterre. This edition has been reprinted with a redesigned cover. £2.25 from the sale of each book goes to the RNLI.
